What is CPGET?

CPGET (Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admissions into PG courses, PG diplomas, and 5-year integrated programs offered by:

  • Osmania University
  • Kakatiya University
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Hyderabad (JNTUH)
  • Satavahana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Telangana, and Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayas

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian nationals with local/non-local status in Telangana
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 40–50% marks (varies by subject)
  • Age Limit: No age restriction (except for Integrated and Distance courses)

How to Apply for CPGET 2025?

  1. Visit the official portal: https://cpget.tsche.ac.in
  2. Click on “Apply Online for CPGET 2025”
  3. Register with a mobile number and email
  4. Fill in personal, academic, and reservation details
  5. Upload photo & signature
  6. Pay application fee:
    • General/OBC: ₹800 (one subject), ₹400 per additional subject
    • SC/ST/PH: ₹600 (one subject), ₹400 per additional subject
  7. Submit and print the application for future reference

CPGET 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: Online (CBT)
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice)
  • Marking: +1 for correct answer, no negative marking
  • Subjects: Based on the UG syllabus of respective subjects
