T. Raja Singh Receives Threat Calls, Stays Loyal to BJP Despite Party Rifts

Telangana MLA T.Raja Singh Receives Death Threats

Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh, known for his strong Hindutva stance, has recently claimed that he received nine threatening phone calls, including bomb and death threats, in just a six-minute window on June 12, 2025.

“These are not just threats against me but also against my family. I have submitted the numbers and a formal complaint to the Mangalhat Police,” said Raja Singh.

As a result of the complaint, the Telangana government has allotted him:

  • A bulletproof vehicle
  • 2+2 police security personnel

The police are currently tracing the origin of the calls and investigating the source behind these serious threats.

BJP Infighting & Jubilee Hills Bypoll Tension

While dealing with personal security concerns, Raja Singh is also at the center of a political storm within the BJP.

In a veiled attack against his own party leadership, he suggested that internal caste politics might be dictating the Jubilee Hills by-election ticket distribution.

“I have ears and eyes. I know what’s happening. People are trying to sabotage loyal party workers,” Singh hinted in an interview.

This statement sparked a stir in the Telangana BJP unit, especially as the bypoll is viewed as a prestige contest post the 2023 Assembly elections.

Loyalty to BJP Reaffirmed

Despite escalating internal tensions, Raja Singh ruled out leaving the BJP, firmly stating on June 12:

“Even if I’m expelled from the BJP, I’ll never join another party. My commitment is to PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Yogi Adityanath. I thought of quitting politics once, but not switching parties.”

This comes amid swirling rumors that Singh might defect—especially after being sidelined in internal party deliberations.
